13.3.3. Elimination of consequences of corrosion or cracks in body panels

1. Remove a paint from the damaged area, and also from area in several centimetres round damages with the help наждачной a nozzle or the wire brush established on a drill.

3. After paint removal it is possible to estimate, how much metal is amazed by a rust, and on the basis of it to solve, whether it is necessary to replace all panel (if it probably) or to restore the damaged area.

14. The aluminium tape is necessary for using for small or very narrow apertures.
15. Wind off a tape, cut off a piece of the demanded length and the form, then remove a sheeting (if it is pasted on a tape) and stick an aperture; it is possible to paste one more layer of a tape if it is not enough a thickness of one layer.
16. Press edges of a tape by means of the handle of a screw-driver or the similar tool that it densely adjoined to metal.
