3.2.2. Dismantle and engine major repairs

In the given subsection the order of performance of such works as dismantle of the power unit from the car and major repairs of a head of the block of cylinders, the block of cylinders / картера a cranked shaft, and other details of the internal device of the engine is in detail considered.

In the given subsection advice about preparation and the organisation of works about major repairs and acquisition of spare parts are given, and also procedures of dismantling of the engine, check of a technical condition, repair and installation of knots and engine details are in detail described.

Since subsection 3.2.2.6 the description is conducted in the assumption that the engine is dismantled from the car. The description of kinds of repair without removal of the engine from the car, and also an order of removal and installation of knots and units of the engine necessary for performance of major repairs, is resulted in corresponding subsection 3.2.1 and further, and also in subsections 3.2.2.1.1, 3.2.2.2, 3.2.2.3, 3.2.2.4. After engine removal loses meaning performance of preliminary operations on the dismantling, described in subsection 3.2.1 and further till the end of section.

All standard data necessary for major repairs, is resulted in subsection 3.2.2.2, except for the moments of an inhaling which are specified in subsection 3.2.1.1.
