3.3.23. Atomizers

Faulty atomizers can lead to a strong detonation of the engine and cause damage of bearings. At similar malfunctions leave the engine to idle, and weaken one after another накидные nuts of atomizers. If at easing of one of накидных nuts the detonation disappears, it specifies in a faulty atomizer.

The faulty atomizer can be found out also, easing one after another накидных nuts, at engine work on fast single to a course. If at easing накидной nuts the number of turns does not change, the corresponding atomizer means is faulty. The atomizer can be checked up by means of a manometre (it is carried out in a workshop). Demanded pressure of injection: 120–140 bar.

First signs of malfunction of atomizers are:

  – Faults in work of cylinders;
  – Knock in one or several cylinders;
  – An engine overheat;
  – Falling of capacity of the engine;
  – Too black exhaust gas;
  – The high expense of fuel.


1. Cautiously clear outside a cold cleaner or solar oil топливопроводы a high pressure and returnable топливопроводы.
2. Remove топливопроводы a high pressure in the complete set, for this purpose ослабьте накидные nuts on the pump and atomizers прорезаннным накидным a key. Thus keep fastening by a usual key. Do not change the form of a bend of the pipeline.

4. Unscrew nuts of the returnable pipeline.

5. Remove the returnable pipeline.
6. Turn out atomizers a face key and spread out them in an adjusting order. If necessary mark atomizers with a tape that they could be established on former places.
7. Cover apertures of atomizers that foreign matters have not got.
8. Take out linings of atomizers. It is necessary to replace linings necessarily.

The prevention

At all do not clean an atomizer or a needle of atomizers a wire or a file. Do not mix separate details of atomizers among themselves.


1. Clear apertures of atomizers in a head of cylinders and necessarily establish four new heat-resistant linings. Deepening should be turned upwards. The arrow specifies to a head of cylinders.
2. Establish atomizers and tighten with effort 70 Н.м.

The prevention

Pulling of atomizers can lead to deformation of atomizers that in turn will lead to jamming of a needle or other malfunctions.

3. Establish the returnable pipeline with four new linings and screw up nuts with effort 45 Н.м.

The prevention
