4.6.2. The gauge of temperature of the engine

The signal from this gauge is used by the processor block for management of power supply systems and ignition, and also for fan inclusion.

The gauge will screw in soaking up collector.

The gauge represents the thermoresistor.

On the gauge the stabilised pressure moves, and the removed signal is defined by change of a current of the gauge at temperature change.

In default the gauge (the control lamp on the panel of devices lights up) management is transferred to the reserve scheme which uses the initial parametres accepted by default.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For gauge check it is necessary to remove it and to measure resistance at different temperatures.
2. Gauge check on the car Is forbidden.
3. Full check of a chain of the gauge and a control system of the engine is carried out in car-care centre service.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. On the cooled down engine merge a part of a liquid to thermoswitch level.
3. Disconnect a thermoswitch socket.
4. Cautiously turn out the thermoswitch, remove a sealant (if it is provided).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear the thermoswitch and put on a carving hermetic.
2. Replace a sealant (if it is provided).
3. Further assemblage is carried out upside-down.
