6.4.2.3.3. The electromagnetic valve

Replacement of the operating electromagnetic valve – models with electronic injection of fuel (except models "Phase I" with the engine in volume of 2,0 litres and multidot system of injection of fuel).

The electromagnetic valve on models "Phase II" with the engine in volume of 2,0 l

The electromagnetic valve is established on the main fixing arm of an inlet collector.

The operating electromagnetic valve is established on the back party of an inlet collector on models with the engine in volume of 1,6 litres and on the left or bottom party of an inlet collector on models with the engine in volume of 2,0 litres.

For access improvement to the electromagnetic valve on models with the engine in volume of 1,6 litres, remove a casing of the air filter

On models with the engine in volume of 2,0 litres, lift a forward part of the car and establish it on support to get access to the valve from below the car (if it is necessary).

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For replacement of the electromagnetic valve disconnect a wire of the negative plug of the accumulator, then, compress a fixing clip and disconnect a socket of connection of the valve.
2. Remember or mark installation position all hoses on the valve. Not to connect hoses incorrectly at installation, mark each of hoses and branch pipes at removal.
3. Release collars (if are established) and disconnect hoses from the valve, then, remove the valve from a fixing arm.
4. Installation is spent upside-down removals. At installation check up correctness of connection of hoses.
